The Giro d' Italia hits the halfway mark with exciting finishes despite the seemingly foregone conclusion that Team UAE Emirates' Tadej Pocagar has wrapped up the overall barring unforeseen possible calamities. Mark Cavendish won a stage in Hungary and Thibau Nys won the overall. The US National championships take place this week in West Virginia. Olympic spots will be contested in the individual time trials.

Dean talks to each of the three Americans racing the May 1st race up in the hills near Frankfurt, Germany with a fast flat downtown Frankfurt finish. Dean chats with EF Education - EasyPost's Neilson Powless who is returning to action after an injury which disrupted his spring racing campaign. Dean also connects with Team dsm firmernich PostNL's Kevin Vermaerke, and Israel - Premier Tech's Riley Sheehan. Sheehan races to earn the final spot on the podium, placing an outstanding 3rd place. Randy mentions the success for EF Education-Cannondale at the Vuelta Femenina in Spain. The Warren brothers briefly look forward to the upcoming Giro d' Italia.
