In Episode 58 Randy and Dean Warren discuss the latest in the professional cycling world.  The Warren brothers start out talking about the Valley of the Sun Race which took place in Phoenix, Arizona.  Dean interviewed the time trial winners from the pro men's race and the pro women's race, Brandon McNulty of Rally and Leah Thomas of Sho-AirTwenty20 respectively.  The Warrens follow up with talking about the recently completed Tour of Oman and Ruta del Sol and look forward to the "real" start to the season with the upcoming Wolrd Tour events.

Randy and Dean Warren talk again about cycling, mostly races going on in the professional world.  Before the Warren brothers dive into what's happening in the races they talk about siblings in sports.  They then concentrate on the pro races including the Tour of Oman, the Volta ao Algarve and the Ruta del Sol in the Andalusia region of Spain.  Top riders are showing their form and Randy and Dean look forward to the season as it builds towards the first couple of bigger stage races and one day events.

Randy and Dean Warren convene this week to talk all things cycling on the Warren Cycling Podcast.  The Warren brothers go over their recent rides and how they build community though cycling.  Randy and Dean muse about sports that are played all year long, and how mixing up different cycling disciplines is beneficial.  They move on to talk about UHC's Travis McCabe's stage win in Australia, then about other cyclists who are performing well in the early season as well as upcoming professional races.

A bonus episode this week as Aspire Racing's Ellen Noble talks to the Warren Cycling Podcast about her Cyclocross World Championship Silver Medal and overall U23 World Cup series win.  Noble also shares with the Warren brothers her start into cycling and plans for road racing this year as well.  Randy and Dean then briefly recap the results of multiple road races from Spain to Dubai to Australia.

The Warren brothers convene once again to talk all things cycling and start off with weather for their own rides.  Randy gives descending advice and then he and Dean talk about the recent races.  They discuss the events in Australia and Argentina as well as Mallorca before covering the Cyclocross World Championships where American Ellen Noble earned a silver medal in the women's U23 race.  The Warren brothers wonder which race successes in the early season will translate to wins later on and are excited to be back in the road racing time.

The Warren Cycling Podcast resumes after a short break where Dean was in South Africa at the Mpumalanga Cycle Tour where his son Taylor raced.  Randy and Dean talk about the race which includes interviews with former World Tour rider Songezo Jim, and the Mpumalanga Tour organizer Hendrik Wagener and president commissar Bart Harmse.  Racers Nicholas Greeff and Taylor Warren also were interviewed and pay compliments to the well organized race.  The Warren brothers discuss the recently completed Santos Tour Down Under and the previous weekend's cycle-cross World Cup races.

Episode 51, the first of 2017, starts out with Randy and Dean Warren interviewing newly crowned collegiate national champion Maxx Chance representing CU Boulder in Hartford, Connecticut.  Maxx shares his nationals experience with preparations for the upcoming U23 race.  Chance also talks about his recent Belgium racing before Randy and Dean move on to discuss the Belgium nationals course.  Dean then quizzes Randy on the new names of the teams on the World Tour level.  The Warren brothers touch on the racing in Australia, including the road national championships going on there and the upcoming Santos Tour Down Under.

It's almost Christmas and the Warren Cycling Podcast gives it's listeners an extra podcast this week featuring an interview with USA Cycling's CEO Derek Bouchard-Hall.  The Warren brothers talk to Derek who is in London and ask about his cycling background.  Bouchard-Hall shares his story from getting into the sport, to his rich racing career and then move into life after racing professionally.  He tells of his opportunity to move into his current position, and the changes and challenges that USA Cycling faces. In Episode 48 Dean speaks from Switzerland to Randy in North Carolina and they get on the subject about training in cold weather and other ways to keep up the fitness in the winter.  Dean asks Randy about what to do when getting sick and when the holiday sweets are tempting.  The Warren brothers briefly mention the Namur World Cyclo-cross Cup event where Amanda Miller placed 7th.  Dean reports that Katerina Nash placed on the podium when she actually won.  Randy and Dean produce a shorter podcast allowing the listeners more time to get last minute Christmas shopping done.

Episode 47 features a long interview with Dimension Data’s Lachlan Morton.  The Warren brothers spoke with the Boulder, Colorado resident as he was at the Denver airport getting ready to fly back to his home country, Australia.  Morton has high praise for his new team and the charity work it does through MTN Qhubeka in distributing bicycles to African children in need.  Lachlan spoke about his upcoming season and races as well as his and his brother Gus’ latest Thereabouts film.  The latest edition takes the Morton brothers through Columbia and will be released any time now.  Randy and Dean speak about domestic team roster changes and BMC’s new kit, before touching on a little cyclocross talk.  The Warren Cycling Podcast concludes with a little talk on staying healthy during the busy holiday time.

Randy and Dean Warren cover a multitude of cycling topics in episode 46 of the Warren Cycling Podcast.  The main feature is Dean's interview with Giant-Alpecin's Chad Haga.  Chad talked over lunch with Dean about his off season and upcoming 2017 campaign.  The Warren brothers appreciate the professional cyclists who have taken time to talk to the podcast and look forward to future interviews.  Dean and Randy talk about what's going on in cyclocross racing and touch on what to wear in cold temperatures.

In Episode 45 Randy and Dean Warren interview Amanda Miller of Boulder Cyclo Sport.  Miller is one of the top female cycle-cross racers and discusses her season.  She also tells about her path to becoming a cyclist, and her time as a road racer.  Amanda talks training, and the difficulty of the great distances to travel to races in the U.S. and overseas.  She has some great goals for the rest of the season and will soon be racing World Cup races, then Nationals and Worlds.  The Warren brothers continue the discussion on cycle-cross, then talk a little about what is happening in road cycling news.  Dean and Randy talk a little training ride etiquette as well.

In Episode 43 the Warren Cycling Podcast records on two different days.  In the first part Randy and Dean Warren talk about cycling related events, including off season goal setting.  The Warren brothers address fan expectations on pro racers as well. The second part of the podcast at 32:42 Randy and Dean interview Bicycle Colorado's Active Transportation Manager Rachel Hultin to talk about the Colorado Pedals Project.  This initiative has many components and focuses on making Colorado the best cycling state in the nation.

Randy and Dean get back together to discuss all things cycling in the Warren Cycling Podcast Episode 42.  The Warren brothers find plenty of interesting cycling news to talk about plus Dean reveals his plan to get more bikes spread around Europe to ride on his layovers.  Randy discusses his recent USA Cycling meetings, Dean and Randy talk a little cyclco-cross and some new rider signings including team phenom Brandon McNulty's deal with Rally Cycling.  Randy also describes Zipp's new race wheel.

At a special event the Warren Cycling Podcast recorded and broadcasted on Facebook Live at the Via Bicycle Cafe in Estes Park, Colorado.  Dean's wife baked pumpkin and apple pies for any to celebrate the occasion as the Warren's are thankful for their Via Bicycle Cafe sponsorship.  The Warren brothers talk about their own cycling backgrounds and how they became avid cyclists.  Dean interviews Randy as he expounds on his career as a cyclist, cycling coach and bicycling advocate.  Watch the replays of the Facebook Live show in two parts at www.facebook.com/warrencyclingpodcast

Episode 40 of the Warren Cycling Podcast is highlighted by the Warren brothers interviewing Junior Worlds Silver Medalist Skylar Schneider (9:15).  We had intended to interview both Skylar and her sister Sam, but will hold off on that interview until the Schneider sisters are able to make their announcement regarding their team for 2017.  Skylar shared her UCI World Championship experience as well as gave us insight into how she has developed to be the rider she is at her young age.  Randy and Dean discuss the recently completed Abu Dhabi Tour and then talk about next year's Tour de France and Giro d'Italia routes.  The Warrens touch on the 6 day track event going on in London and the success of Amanda Miller at the recent cyclo-cross world cup race.

In Episode 39 the Warren Cycling Podcast focuses mostly on the recent UCI World Road Cycling Championships in Doha, Qatar.  Randy and Dean talk about the announcement of next year's Tour de France route, although both admit to having not looked very closely at it yet.  The Warren brothers report Steve Tilford's unfortunate crash and the merits of wearing a bicycle helmet.  As usual Dean and Randy look ahead and see lots more of cycling up ahead with the road season winding down in Abu Dhabi and the 'cross season heating up.  The Warren Cycling Podcast looks forward to a taping and a Facebook live event coming up on November 2nd in Estes Park at the Via Bicycle Cafe.

In Episode 38 Randy and Dean focus mostly on talking about the in progress UCI World Cycling Championships taking place in Doha, Qatar.  Dean caught up with Gage Hecht at a cyclo-cross race in Loveland, Colorado before Gage headed over to Doha to race the junior road race world championship.  Randy and Dean cover the completed individual and team time trials from Worlds and diverge to speak about clincher versus tubular tires.  The Warren brothers also cite the lack of live television coverage of the World Championships.  They finish with a little talk about cycle-cross and a couple upcoming gran fondo's.

Episode 37, the longest Warren Cycling Podcast to date packs in a full slate of cycling talk starting off with Dean's travel to the Tobago International Cycling Classic and the one day UCI race.  Dean interviews Trevor Conner, cycling coach and VeloNews writer about the Tobago racing.  The Warren brothers continue the podcast talking about the UCI World Championships about to take place in Doha, Qatar.  They speak with Twenty-16 Ridebiker and USA women's road racer Allie Dragoo.  Allie just arrived and is preparing for the team time trial which takes place on Sunday.  Allie will also race in the road race the following Saturday.  Her interview starts 27:53 into the podcast.  From Worlds talk, Randy and Dean shift to cycle-cross and are joined in conversation with multi US National Champion Jeremy Powers (44:11 into podcast).  Jeremy answers lots of questions and graciously talks about his season and setbacks as well as preparations to move forward for the rest of the year.  Jeremy also elaborates on ways in which cycle-cross has grown in the US and Randy and Dean appreciate his role in that process.

In Episode 36 the Warren brothers converge once again to talk about cycling and as usual focus on the professional side of the sport.  They recap the recently completed Eneco Tour which just took place in the Netherlands and Belgium.  The race gave perhaps a preview to the form of riders hoping to represent their national teams at the upcoming World Championships in Doha, Qatar in October.  Slovakia's Peter Sagan is looking awfully strong.  The Warrens continued their discussion by mentioning the recent rider transfer news, particularly on the US domestic scene.  UnitedHealthcare and Holowesko-Citadel have been busy signing riders with John Murphy moving over to Holowesko and Travis McCabe over to UHC.  Randy and Dean noted the number of domestic based riders who will represent the United States and Worlds and the high chance of a medal from junior racer Skylar Schneider.  Before concluding the podcast the Warrens discussed the recently completed World Cup Cyclo-cross races in Las Vegas and Iowa City.  Randy and Dean look forward to perhaps an interview before the next podcast with US multi-national champion Jeremy Powers.

In Episode 35 the Randy and Dean start out the podcast talking about how this time of year coincides with road racers taking a bit of time off the bike to prepare for next year.  The Warren brothers talk about the races still coming up and the current one taking place in the Netherlands and Belgium- the ENECO Tour.  They mention Peter Sagan's and Anna van der Breggen's European Championship wins and the talk about the race to collect UCI points as the road season closes out the 2016 campaign.  Randy and Dean also talk some cyclo-cross and note Tom Zirbel's Hour Record ride.

In this special edition episode the Warren Cyclng Podcast interviews Kimberly Coats of Team Africa Rising.  Kimberly talks to the Warren brothers about forming the first all African professional UCI women's cycling team. The team will compete in 2017 and be comprised of Eritrean, Ethiopian, and Rwandan riders and will initially be based in the United States and race the first half of the season in the US.  She explains the hurdles in developing the team such as finding a title sponsor.  Kimberly also shared the recent success of Eritrean rider Yohana Dawit at the Green Mountain Stage Race in Vermont.  Randy and Dean ask about the upcoming World Championships and the participation of African women in Qatar.
