In Episode 105, the Warren brothers discuss the latest in the cycling world, primarily focusing on professional racing. Dean and Randy finally recognize a lull in road racing, but have plenty to talk about as the 2018 Giro d' Italia route has been revealed and four time Tour de France champion Chris Froome (Team Sky) has committed to race the Giro and the Tour next year. The Warrens cover the latest cyclocross racing in Europe and talk to Aspire Racing's Ellen Noble (36:27) about her recent podium finish in Belgium and her European racing campaign.
Randy and Dean are together in their home town of Niles, Michigan celebrating Thanksgiving and podcasting about the latest in the cycling world. The Warren brothers discuss cold weather riding and winter commuting, and talk about the World Cup cyclocross races in Denmark. Randy gives better advise about an off season running program than that what Dean has done this fall. They talk a little about the Tour of Rwanda and what's next on the World Cup track circuit.
The Warren Cycling Podcast, now sponsored by Health IQ, features two interviews in Episode 103. Dean talked to Olympian medalist Georgia Gould after she won the Cross of the North cyclocross race in Fort Collins, Colorado. Randy and Dean talk about the Tour of Rwanda, cyclocross races in Europe and in the US, and the track world cup races in Manchester. In part two, Dean and Randy catch up with Sunweb's Chad Haga on his 2017 season, the off season and what's in store for 2018. This interview took place at Breakaway Cycles in Loveland and apologies for the less than stellar audio quality in the interview from Randy on Skype.
In Episode 102 Randy and Dean talk about the track world cup event that took place in Poland. At about 16 minutes into the podcast the Warren brothers play an interview they did with UnitedHealthcare's Travis McCabe as he prepared to move from Arizona to Denver. Travis shares discusses his 2017 season, and looks forward to what is in store for 2018 including the addition of former teammate Eric Marcotte. Randy and Dean cover some of the recent cyclocross including the European championships and Pan Am championships.
Randy and Dean Warren converge once again to talk about all things cycling and this week focus on the Koppenbergcross race where Dean attended. Dean interviewed second place finisher Katie Compton (KFC Racing/Trek/Panache) and 9th place finisher Elle Anderson (cycling.be - Alpha Motorhomes team). From the elite men's race, Dean spoke to the entire podium which included winner Mathieu Van der Poel (Beobank-Corendon) and second and third place finishers both of Telenet Fidea Lions, Toon Aerts and Lars van der Haar. The Warren brothers talk about cyclocross, a little about the continuation of road racing and track events. The Warrens have added a birthday segment and conclude checking in on Randy's broken hip progress.
